Home-grown Tata Motors which today launched its cross-over car, Aria, in three trim levels, has priced its top-end Aria Pride at Rs 15.5-lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) and Rs 15.85-lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai).
"We have priced the Aria Pride at Rs 15.5-lakh and Rs 15.85-lakh for Delhi and Mumbai, respectively," Tata Motors' Managing Director for India operations, P M Telang, told reporters after launching the car, here, late evening.
The car was launched in the presence of Tata group Chairman, Ratan Tata.
The Aria Prestige has been priced at Rs 14.5-lakh in Delhi and Rs 14.82-lakh, respectively (both ex-showroom).
Aria Pleasure has been priced at Rs 12.91-lakh in Delhi and Rs 13.18-lakh in Mumbai, again ex-showroom.
The Aria will be rolled-out from Tata Motors' Pune plant and the company claims that it is the first cross-over in the country with a four-wheel drive system.

The car will soon be available in 25 cities pan-India and will be sold through 69 dealers.
Tata Motors plans to also sell the Aria in Italy, Spain and Poland, Telang had earlier said. The Tata group company is already present in the above markets.
