Auto major Tata Motors today said its global sales of vehicles declined by 11.70% to 88,881 units in October, compared to the year-ago period.
The company had sold 1,00,660 units in the corresponding period of 2012.
However, global sales of all passenger vehicles in October stood at 50,814 units, up 3.1%, from 49,264 in October 2012, Tata Motors said in a statement.
Sales of luxury brand Jaguar Land Rover rose by 29.60% to 36,157 units during October, as compared to 27,897 in the same month last year.
