Tata Motors launches Zest sedan in north India, prices it at Rs 4.64 lakh

Company considers new model a 'game changer' and believes it will help revive dwindling sales

Tata Motors has high expectation from the northern region considered as one of the lucrative markets for all the passenger car manufacturers.

Keeping in mind, the company today launched the Zest, the all new, sub-four metre compact sedan with a start price of Rs 4.64 lakh, ex-showroom, Chandigarh, for the petrol Revotron 1.2T model and Rs. 5.64 lakh, ex-showroom, Chandigarh, as the start price for the diesel variant.

The company said that new model will be game changer for Tata Motors and would help the company in reviving the dwindling sales.

Amit Sagar, National Sales Head, North and West Passenger Vehicles, Tata Motors said the company has plans to launch at least two new models every year.
 

He also mentioned that the Zest will be followed by Bolt, a hatchback car from Tata Motors.

Meanwhile, the company also launched an industry first service offering with the 333 Confidence.

This programme offers best-in-class warranty of 3 years or 1 lakh Kms (whichever is earlier), an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) of 3 years/ 45000 kms (whichever is earlier) and a free 24X7 Roadside Assistance service for 3 years.
