Tata Motors unveils three new cars

The vehicles are: Compact sedan codenamed Kite 5, compact SUV Nexon and lifestyle SUV Hexa

Tata Motors, India's largest vehicle maker, on Wednesday  unveiled three cars at the Auto Expo. Compact sedan codenamed Kite 5, compact SUV Nexon and lifestyle SUV Hexa were unveiled by the company. Kite 5, a sedan based on the Zica platform, will be powered by a 1.2-litre petrol and a 1.05-litre diesel engine.

Styling of the sedan is similar to the Zica, except for the rear where the car gets a coupe-like styling. This new car will be launched next financial year. Nexon is a sub-4 metre SUV powered by a 1.2-litre turbo charged petrol and a 1.5-litre diesel engine.

The vehicle will compete against Ford Ecosport, Maruti Vitara Brezza to name a few.

Hexa is a full size SUV with off-road and on-road capability. The vehicle is powered by a 2.2l diesel engines.
