Tata Ryerson Limited (TRyL), a joint venture between Tata Steel and Ryerson Inc of US, has set up a service centre for plate processing and fabrication at Tada in Andhra Pradesh to cater to the growing earthmoving and construction equipment market in India.
The centre, set up at an investment of Rs 50 crore, will provide a range of services including oxy fuel, plasma and laser cutting, shearing, press bending and welding of plates for ordinary carbon steel and alloy steel to a very high strength and high hardness steel.
“The service centre is a part of our continuous effort to work closely with customers and provide more value to them,” TRyL chairman, Frank Munoz, stated in a press release here on Monday.
