Tata Safari To Piggyback Rover On Europe Safari

Tata Engineering (Telco) has announced that it has appointed Phoenix Venture Holdings, owner of the British car maker MG Rover, to distribute its sports utility offering, Safari (4X4) offroader, and pick-up vehicle Loadbeta in the UK and Ireland.

Telco already has a strategic arrangement in place with MG Rover to export its offering Indica to the UK and European markets, badged as a Rover.

Phoenix Distribution, a newly created subsidiary of Phoenix Venture Holdings, will manage the franchise,
