Tata Singur issue: Pranab-Buddhadeb hold talks

In the backdrop of Ratan Tata's threat to pull the small car project out of Singur, External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee and West Bengal Chief Minister Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee today held talks with each other.

In a 30-minute meeting, they were understood to have discussed the threat given by Tata to pull out the Nano car project.

Mukherjee who arrived here as part of President Pratibha Patil's entourage met Bhattacharjee at the VVIP lounge of the NSC Bose international airport.

However, there was no briefing about the meeting.
