Tata Steel has set a revenue target of Rs 1,700 crore from branded products for fiscal 2003-04. At the end of 2002-03 branded products accounted for Rs 750 crore revenue.
B Muthuraman, managing director, Tata Steel, said that branded products would be one of the main drivers for growth. The share of branded products over the year would increase from 14 per cent to 28 per cent.
