Tata Steel hikes Corus stake to 21.9%

Tata Steel UK, indirect wholly-owned subsidiary of Tata Steel, yesterday acquired 7,136,094 of equity share capital of Corus Group Plc, UK at 601.75 pence per share.

According to an official release issued by the company to the BSE today, with the above purchase, Tata Steel UK holds 207,092,046 (21.9%) equity share capital of Corus Group Plc, UK.
