Tata Steel Q2 consolidated net up 12%

Tata Steel today reported a 12.26% increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 1,111.32 crore for the second quarter ended September 30, 2005 as against Rs 989.91 crore in the quarter ended September 30, 2004.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, total income increased to Rs 5,123.32 crore in Q2FY06 from Rs 4,085.25 crore in Q2FY05.
