Tata Steel Q2 net up 8% at Rs 1,191cr

Tata Steel today reported a 8.1%  increase in net profit at Rs 1,190.83 crore for the second quarter ended September 2007 when compared with Rs 1,101.50 crore in Q2FY07.

Total income increased to Rs 4,879.41 crore from Rs 4,379.51 crore in the corresponding period last year.
