Tata Tea looking for overseas acquisitions

Tata Tea is looking for acquisitions in tea-related business overseas,
which would be funded by cash balances with the firm, chairman Ratan Tata said today.

"The company is planning to increase business for both Tata Tea and Tetley," Tata said.

The company was eyeing markets of north and south America with primary focus on beverages, ready-to-drink tea and herbal tea.
