Tata Chemicals, India's leading manufacturer of chemicals, fertilizers and consumer products, has announced appointment of Ashvini Hiran as Chief Culture Officer, the newly-created position in the Tata Group.
The position was created in Tata Chemical's 75th year of existence as a pioneering step to nurture the culture of organization.
"Tata Chemicals as a provider of innovative solutions for LIFE - Living, Industrial and Farm Essentials, is shaping its organizational DNA to create an enabling culture for its next phase of growth in line with its values and aspirations," a company statement said.

Hiran is set to take his new role on June 16. With over 30 years of experience in various capacities with India's leading business houses including Tata Group, Hindustan Unilever, AV Birla Group and Gujarat Coop Milk Mktg. Federation (GCMMF), Hiran is currently serving Tata Group as Chief Operating Officer of the Consumer Products Business (Living Essentials Vertical) which includes Tata Salt, I - Shakti staples and Tata Swach Water purifier businesses.
Richa Arora has been appointed as Chief Operating Officer - Consumer Products Business. Arora was previously Founder & Chief Strategy Officer of a boutique consultancy firm known as Five by Six Consulting. Prior to that she was the Head -Marketing & Innovation at Britannia Industries Ltd, and has previously worked in leadership positions at Balsara Home Products and Draft FCB.
Arora brings with her more than 25 years of wide ranging experience in FMCG marketing and advertising, Strategic Planning and Communications, and has worked on a wide range of industries and brands including Frito Lay, Tropicana and Whirlpool.
