Tatas buy out TD Waterhouse from JV

Tata Investment Corporation has acquired the 49.9% stake held by TD Waterhouse Group Inc in Tata TD Waterhouse Securities (TTDWS).

According to a release issued to the BSE today, the balance 50.1% is held by two other Tata companies.

"The name of the company (TTDWS) is in the process of change to reflect the exit of the TD Waterhouse Group," the release added.
