Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), the information technology division of Tata Sons, is expanding Intelnet Global Services, its business process outsourcing (BPO) joint venture with Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC), to accommodate 3,000 people by the end of the current financial year. Intelnet employs 400 people at present.
In addition, TCS is also exploring the possibility of setting up a separate BPO outfit to service its existing overseas clients.
