TCS Q3 net at Rs 643.81cr

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has reported a net profit of Rs 643.81 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004.

According to a release issued to the BSE today, total income stood at Rs 2,219.86 crore for the period under review.

The group has reported a net profit of Rs 713.31 crore for the quarter ended December 31, 2004. Total income was Rs 2,691.78 crore, the release added.

The board of directors will meet on January 20 to consider second interim dividend for the current fiscal.

"The record date for determining the beneficial owners to whom the interim dividend, if declared, will be paid shall be February 4, 2005," the release said.
