TDSAT rejects Radio One plea on uniform FM freq

TDSAT today rejected Radio One's petition challenging the government's decision to award the 92.5 MHz frequency with which the channel is synonymous in Mumbai, to Anil Ambani Group-promoted FM channel Radio Big in New Delhi.

A TDSAT Bench headed by Justice Arun Kumar rejected Radio One's petition, which is promoted by media house Mid Day.

Radio One had approached TDSAT seeking a uniform frequency for all its six radio stations across the country, but the government allotted three different frequencies to it.
