TechSpan plans $20mn spend on infrastructure

IT consulting and technology services company TechSpan India is planning to spend in excess of $20 million towards infrastructure in 2006.

Harsh Singh Lohit, MD of TechSpan India, today announced the consolidation of the company's Bangalore operations and development centre into a single 750-people facility on Millers Road in the central business district of the city.

"The new facility is in line with our plans to meet the growth of our financial services business and expansion of our India operations," Lohit said.

The Bangalore centre has been developed as a centre of excellence, and is wholly dedicated to delivering solutions and services to the securities industry. Besides the Bangalore unit, the company has delivery centres in New Delhi and Manila.
