Tecpro Systems Q4 net down 12.26% to Rs 96.29 crore

Net sales up 14.40% vs Q4 FY11

Tecpro Systems today reported a decline of 12.26% in standalone net profit to Rs 96.29 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2012.

The company had a net profit of Rs 109.74 crore in the corresponding quarter of 2010-11.

Net sales of the company, which is into engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) business, was up 14.40% to Rs 1,099.24 crore during the quarter vis-a-vis Rs 960.90 crore of the Q4 of FY'11, it said in a filing to the BSE.

Company's total expenditure during the quarter was up 17.56% to Rs 888.33 crore.

It did not provide the consolidated results for the January-March quarter.

For the full year 2011-12, the company's consolidated net profit was down by over 7% to Rs 123.11 crore, though its net sales were up over 28% to Rs 2,532.04 crore.

The company board has recommended a dividend of 30% or Rs 3 per share of Rs 10 each for FY'12.

During the last quarter, Tecpro acquired Eversun Energy Private Ltd for Rs 7.02 crore, the filing added.

Shares of the company were being traded at Rs 164.70 apiece on the BSE in late afternoon trade, down 5.21% from the previous close.
