Teledata buys Thailand-based shipping firm

Teledata Informatics has acquired controlling stake in Thailand- based Picnic Marine Company (PMCL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Picnic Corporation.

According to a release issued by Teledata Informatics to the BSE today, Picnic Marine Company is involved in the distribution of LPG through 13 gas carriers with the average gross tonnage of 1,414.27 tonne. "The earning potential of each gas carrier is estimated at $2,500 - $2,800 per day," the release added.
