Travel Food Services (TFS), today announced that it has won the bid to manage the lounge operations at Terminal 2 of the Mumbai airport which is all set to be operational later this year.
Mumbai airport's T2 will have common lounges for all airlines, a move which had not gone down well with airlines like Lufthansa, Air India, British Airways and Emirates which run separate lounges at present.
The lounges spread over 54,000 sq feet will be jointly managed along with Performa, a gategroup company which specialises in designing, managing and servicing of airport lounges.
The mandate will include the staffing, catering and operations at all airline lounges. The establishments at the new terminal will comprise of four lounges.
