The Thapar Group - the promoters of Ballarpur Industries (BILT) - today unveiled its new group corporate identity - Avantha, which combines French and Sanskrit terms to express growth and stability.

The $3 billion group, which has business interests in power generation, distribution, power transmission, chemicals, equipment and services and food processing, is aiming at a turnover of $10 billion by 2013.
