Thermax bags Rs 383cr orders for power plants

Pune-based global energy and environment engineering solutions provider, Thermax and its subsidiary have bagged two projects worth Rs 383 crore by two cement majors for setting up captive power plants.

The company bagged an order to set up a 50 MW coal or petcoke based captive power project for Rs 243 crore and other order, worth Rs 140 crore, is to set up a 25 MW captive power project, the company informed the Bombay Stock Exchange.

The current fiscal order booking, with the aforesaid orders, exceeds 250 MW captive power plants valued at Rs 1,000 crore.
