Three cos bid for Jampani sugar coop

 The price bids were submitted by three firms -- Vijay Agro Products, Delta Tobacoo Co Pvt Ltd and Krebs Biochemicals. The bids will be opened on October 24.

 The last date for submission of bids for another cooperative sugar unit, the Nellore-based Kovur Co-operative Sugar Factory Limited, is October 22.

 The unit is one of the two units that the Registrar of Cooperative Societies re-advertised for sale after rejecting earlier bids for its purchase that were considered too low, according to a release.
