Three students get RM ESI scholarship

Technopark-based RM Education Solutions India’s (RM ESI) has selected three more students this academic year under its scholarship programme aimed at funding undergraduate and postgraduate education of children from economically backward families.

The maximum scholarship amount per candidate has been fixed at Rs 50,000 to be paid in the form of college tuition fees by RM ESI.

“Funding under the scholarship programme will be provided for the duration of the courses selected by the candidates. The scheme is limited to students who live in Kerala and those who have scored 75 per cent marks or above in their plus two examinations,” a senior RM ESI official said.

 

Among the three, Ardra Krishnan received the scholarship for doing her B Sc Computer Science at the College of Applied Science, Palakkad, Harshini Kumari M for BE at Government Engineering College at Hassan in Karnataka and Siyad M for the B Tech course at SCT College of Engineering, Thiruvananthapuram.

The company, which selected three students last year, saw one of them drop out, the official said.
