Indian Made Foreign Liquor (IMFL) manufacturer Tilaknagar Industries registered a consolidated net profit increase of 40 per cent for the quarter-ending March 31, 2009 to touch Rs 7 crore as compared to Rs 5 crore in the corresponding quarter last financial year.
The revenue for the fourth quarter too increased by 107 per cent to touch Rs 85 crore as compared to Rs 41 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous financial year.
As for sequential growth (compared to the trailing quarter), the maker of brands like Senate Royale, Courrier Napoleon, Mansion House net profit increase was 17 per cent and revenue growth was 33 per cent.
For the full year, the company's net profit growth at Rs 20 crore showed an increase of 67 per cent over FY08 at Rs 12 crore. Its revenues grew 86 per cent at Rs 244 crore as compared to Rs 145 crore a year ago.
The company maintained a positive outlook for financial year 2010. " Our products have scope for ample growth and backed by strong demand, we hope to sustain the growth pattern in the coming year, " said Amit Dahanukar, chairman & managing director of Tilaknagar Industries.
