Titan Energy, SP Soft to set up operations in Fab City

Hyderabad-based Titan Energy Systems Limited and SP Soft Embedded IT Solutions have announced plans to set up operations in the upcoming Fab City here.
 
Titan Energy, which is already ramping up its photovoltaic cell manufacturing capacity at the existing facility to 150 Mw from the current 50 Mw at an investment of Rs 40 crore, has proposed a Rs 900-crore project with a complete value chain from wafer, modules to system integration in the Fab City.
 
"We have applied for land in the Fab City and will start construction work from the date of allotment of the same," said Rao SYS Chodagam, managing director, Titan Energy Systems Limited. Planning to emerge as a complete vertical value chain provider in photovoltaic products by the year 2011, the company is looking at increasing the installed capacity to 500 Mw through its new project at Fab City.
 
SP Soft, which is into software development and digital media operations, has proposed to invest $5 million (around Rs 20 crore) to set up a manufacturing facility in the Fab City.
