The new line is targetted at semi-urban and rural areas and aims to herald standardisation in a largely undifferentiated market by establishing quality benchmarks. |
According to the company, a range of over 4,000 designs, all of them in guaranteed 22 carat gold, are proposed to be offered in the showroom to cater to the needs of quality-conscious consumers. |
"GoldPlus shall leverage the design and retail expertise of the company to present market relevant offerings catering to local tastes and preferences. The product range, showroom ambience and marketing will showcase the company's understanding of local consumers," a statement said. |
"The company's investment in IT and retail will further enable GoldPlus to achieve cost effective supply chain logistics which will deliver greater value for customers," it added. |
