Titan to increase retail space to 1,00,000 sq ft

Titan is all set to increase retail space to 1,00,000 square feet in the next couple of years across the country under different retail formats.

"We have blocked space in 72 malls coming across the country, and none of the outlets would be less than 1,500 square feet," Bijou Kurien, chief operating officer of Titan, said.

Commenting on the investments being planned, he said: "The company would be investing close to Rs 50 crore over a period of three years for the retail expansion of watches and jewellery."

Titan currently has 180 exclusive showrooms, 135 time zones, ten Sonata stores and one exclusive Pilot Raga store at a Bangalore mall.
