Top US media and entertainment companies, as well as important industry icons, will participate in a high-level executive mission to the 10th Anniversary Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce (FICCI) Frames Conference in Mumbai next week.
The delegation includes senior executives from the top US media and entertainment companies, as well as important industry icons, including actor Danny Glover, Don Whiteside of Intel, Jacqueline Celeste Lundquist, fashion designer and wife of the former US Ambassador — Richard Celeste — and Joslyn Barnes.
The US is the partner country at the 10th edition of the annual event in Mumbai starting February 17, said US India Business Council (USIBC) in a statement. “Best is yet to come” is the theme of the conference.
“The FRAMES Conference will provide a unique opportunity to further strengthen the growing ties between the American and Indian media and entertainment sectors,” USIBC President Ron Somers said.
“In spite of the the downturn, this past year has been marked by outstanding achievements in media and entertainment. As exemplified by Slumdog Millionaire, collaboration has made this a banner year for US-India cooperation,” Somers said.
