Toyota Kirloskar Motor on Tuesday announced the launch of the new Corolla Altis. The 11th generation of the Corolla is available in five grades in petrol and in four grades in diesel.
The new model has a 1.8l Dual VVTi petrol engine and is also available with a seven-speed sequential shiftmatic with the new “paddle shift”. The petrol variant is also available with six-speed manual transmission. The diesel variant is available with a 1.4 l 1ND D-4D engine with variable nozzle turbo and intercooler with six-speed manual transmission.
The new Corolla Altis is available in seven colours — white pearl crystal shine, silver mica metallic, grey metallic, blue metallic, champaign mica metallic, super white II and celestial black. The petrol and diesel variants start at Rs 11.99 lakh and Rs 13,07,324 respectively (ex-showroom, Delhi).

N Raja, director and senior vice-president, sales and marketing, said, “We have sold about 88,500 units since the Corolla’s introduction in India in 2003. We received a good response after we unveiled the vehicle at the Auto Expo in February. We are currently booked for three months. We hope the new Corolla Altis will contribute to the growth of the C segment in India.”
