Toyota may set up unit in K'taka

Toyota Kirloskar is planning to set up a components production unit in Hubli-Dharwad in Karnataka. Officials from the auto maker have agreed for developing a unit in the twin cities, said minister for major and medium industries Murugesh Nirani. The Karnataka Industrial Area Development Board will acquire 500 acres near the Belur Industrial area to develop it as an industrial township.
