TPV Tech plans Rs 500cr PC monitor unit

 Mukesh Gupta, country head of TPV Technology, said: "It is likely to happen when we reach a sales figure of 4-5 million monitors in India."

 TPV has seven manufacturing facilities in Mainland China, Taiwan, Eastern Europe and Brazil, and the next manufacturing unit is likely to be in India, he added.

 With regard to the probable choice of location for the manufacturing unit, Gupta said: "It makes sense to be in the south. Cities like Visakhapatnam and Chennai are preferable because of proximity to ports."

 The company is planning to launch five models of computer monitors in the next two months in addition to the 10 existing ones. TPV
