Travel mart to kickstart in A'bad on August 20

Travel & Tourism Fair (TTF), a travel mart will be held in Ahmedabad between August 20 and 22 at Gujarat University Exhibition Hall. A travel and holiday planner showcasing national and international destinations, the 3-day event will bring together more than 300 participants from 27 states and 10 countries, under one roof.

TTF Ahmedabad aims to provide a platform to the travel and tourism industry across India and abroad to reach out to the travel trade, potential tourists and business travellers in Gujarat.

TTF Ahmedabad 2010 has international participants from China, Nepal, Dubai, Philippines, Egypt, Sri Lanka, India, Thailand, Malaysia and Vietnam participating in the Outbound Travel Mart (OTM) segment. Among the major state tourism participants are Gujarat, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh , Rajasthan, Karnataka , West Bengal, Chattisgarh, Jammu & Kashmir, Kerala, Punjab, and Jharkhand, according to a press release.

 

Besides the host State, Gujarat Tourism, TTF Ahmedabad is supported by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, and by travel industry bodies like the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), Association of Domestic Tour Operators of India (ADTOI), and Tour Operators and Travel Agents Association of Gujarat (TAG).

At TTF, tourists and business travelers can look forward to information on thousands of destinations, attractive hotel rates and best deals in package tours, the release further stated.
