Tata group firm Trent today reported a net profit of Rs 14.01 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, 2010.
The company had a net profit of Rs 15.86 crore in the same period last fiscal, Trent said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The figures are not comparable with those of the same period last fiscal as scheme of amalgamation of Satnam Developers and Finance and Satnam Realtors with the company has become effective from March 12, 2010.
The company's total income stood at Rs 197.13 crore for the third quarter ended December 31, while the same was Rs 154.67 crore in the same period last fiscal.
Shares of Trent today closed at Rs 898.10 on the BSE, up 0.02 per cent from its previous close.
