Trumph (India) launches its first customer solution centre in Pune

German giant in machine tool business Trumph International Beteiligungs has launched its first customer solutions centre in Pune at an investment of Rs 21.46 crore.

Trumph (India) Pvt Ltd, a fully owned subsidiary of Trumph International would expand its India business with the support of this establishment located in Hinjewadi near Pune, a press release issued said.

The new customer solution centre brings the latest technology to the Indian market with a fully equipped facilities such as punching, laser and pressbrake machines.

This centre is primarily designed to assist new and existing customers in the latest technology to achieve a higher level of engineering and quality to become more competitive in the local and global market, the statement said.

 

The Trumph group's this greenfield project is the latest addition to its portfolio and provides ample working space of approximately 24,000 sqft.

"Trumph-India has established itself as a key player in the Indian machine tool industry. The company should cross a turnover of Rs 144 crore in year 2008-09. Within next five years, we expect to generate revenues worth Rs 216 crore," said Scott Simpson, managing director, Trumph International.

"The new centre will significantly increase our growth as we continue to face a strong demand for the latest technologies in India," Simpson added.
