TrustPort Inc, a Czech Republic based specialist in PC protection, today announced its foray into the Indian market through its subsidiary TrustPort India.
According to Vladislav Nemec CEO TrustPort Inc, the company will have its marketing office in Mumbai, while operations and services will be based here.
We are expecting $2 million revenues from Indian operations in the first year and targeting to capture 30 per cent of in the PC security market share in the next five years, Nemec told mediapersons.
The company is planning to invest a million dollars immediately to support marketing operations and to create necessary infrastructure. It will be increased to $10 million over the period, Nemec added.
Besides technical support, manufacturing, production, distribution and shipping will be done from here, the company's International Sales Manager Roman Veleba said.
He also said they are bringing two of the company's flagship products -- TrustPort Antivirus and PC security -- to the Indian market at an affordable price range. They are coming out with security software aimed at SMEs in India.
TrustPort's global turnover is expected to be around 100 million euros in 2010.
