TT net zooms 197% to Rs 1.80 cr
 
Textile company, TT Ltd, has posted 197 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 1.80 crore for the quarter ended December 2005. Annual sales also jumped by 159 per cent to Rs 105.52 crore, the company said in a release.
 
Net profit for the nine months ended December 2005 surged by 100 per cent and stood at Rs 3.72 crore. Turnover was Rs 203.39 crore while EPS was Rs 4.65 per share.
 
Zydus net soars 36% to Rs 39.6 cr
 
Zydus Cadila has posted 36.1 per cent growth in net profit at Rs 39.6 crore during the quarter ended December 2005 as compared with Rs 29.1 crore recorded in the corresponding quarter last year.
 
Total income for the quarter rose by 17per cent at Rs 382.2 crore from Rs 293 crore last year. The group's net profit surged to Rs 121.8 crore for the nine months to December 31, 2005, which has already surpassed the net profit for the whole 12 months of FY05.
 
With operations in US and France, the key regulated markets, and high profile markets of Brazil and South Africa, the group has registered a growth of 138 per cent y-o-y in formulation exports.
 
During the quarter under review, the group received approvals for Ribavirin Capsules, Promethazine Tablets and tentative approval for Gatifloxacin Tablets from the US FDA.
 
In all, Zydus Cadila has received 10 generic approvals so far. The group's cumulative filings stands at 30 ANDAs and 35 DMFs.
 
The company also received approval from the AFSSAPS, the French egulatory agency, to market Sertraline capsules in the French market.
