Kitchen appliances manufacturer TTK Prestige has reported a 10.1% dip in net profit at Rs 30.28 crore for second quarter ending September 30.
The Chennai-based company, part of the TTK Group, had registered a net profit of Rs 33.71 crore during the same period last year.
For the half year period ending September 30, 2012, the net profit of the company grew at Rs 60.96 crore, as against Rs 59.05 crore registered during the same period last year, TTK Prestige said in a statement.
The net profit of the company, for the year ending March 31, 2012 stood at Rs 113.38 crore.
The total income of the company for the quarter ending September 30, 2012 rose to Rs 335.55 crore, up by 10.5%, from Rs 303.48 crore registered during the same period last year.
For the half-year period ending September 30, 2012 the total income of the company grew to 638.08 crore from Rs 536.62 crore registered during the year-ago period.
