TVS May motorcycle sales up 23%

Two-wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company has reported a 23% rise in motorcycle sales in May this year at 78,271 units when compared with 63,585 units in the same month last year.

According to an official release, the comany has recorded a +30% growth in motorcycle sales for the last three months this year.

Overall two-wheeler sales stood at 1,24,678 units during May as compared to 1,06,914 units in the same month last year, registering a growth of 17%.

The exports grew 36% to 8,552 units during May this year.

TVS StaR sales crossed the 7 lakh units mark, while TVS Scooty recorded sales of 20,396 units in May when compared with 20,454 units last year during the same period.
