TVS Motor eyes 15% rise in 2-wheeler sales

TVS Motor today said it expected 12-15 per cent growth in two-wheeler sales during this financial year with motorcycle volume likely to contribute one million units.

"We expect two-wheeler sales of over 1.7 million units," said Venu Srinivasan, chairman and managing director, TVS Motor, said at the sidelines of the CII annual conference.

Srinivasan said the company's new bike offering 'Apache' was selling around 8,000-9,000 units a month.

"We expect to do 15,000 units by the pooja session in September," he said.
