The total exports of the company grew by 22.3% with sales of 43,595 units to overseas during May, this year, as against 35,649 units sold during the same month of last year. The total two wheeler sales grew by seven% to 2,10,843 units compared to 1,97,451 units in May, 2014, and the exports of two wheeler greq by 27% to 35,310 units in May, this year, compared to 27,780 units during the same month, last year.
Domestic two wheeler sales increased to 1,75,533 units in May, 2015, as against 1,69,671 units during May, 2014. Scooter sales grew by seven% to 54,426 units during the month, compared to 51,010 units in May 2014.
Three wheeler sales of the company registered a drop to 9,236 units during May, 2015, as against 9,362 units in May, 2014.
