Chennai-based two-wheeler maker TVS Motor Company today reported a 11.78% increase in its total vehicle sales in November at 1,75,535 units.
The company had sold 1,57,041 units in the same month last year, TVS Motor Company said in a statement.
Two-wheeler sales of the company grew by 12.31% last month to 1,72,829 units from 1,53,882 units in the year-ago period, it added.
Scooter sales increased by 22.27% to 44,301 units in November from 36,233 units in the same month of 2010, while motorcycle sales declined marginally to 62,603 units from 62,995 units in the year-ago period.
The company's domestic two-wheeler sales registered a growth of 7.79% to 1,50,406 units against 1,39,541 units in November 2010.
Three-wheeler sales of the company went down by 14.34% to 2,706 units from 3,159 units in the same month of 2010, the statement said.
Company's exports increased 53.13% to 24,271 units from 15,850 units in the same month previous year, it added.
