TVS Motor unveils Victor GLX 125

TVS Motor Company on Tuesday formally launched the executive bike, Victor GLX 125, in Gujarat.

The company has provided the variable timing intelligent (VTi) engine in the Victor GLX 125, a feature that was launched for the first time in India with TVS Centra, the company said.

Ashesh Dhar, general manager, sales (west), said in Ahmedabad, the GLX 125 will cost Rs 42, 799 ex-showroom and the on-road price will be Rs 45, 799.

"With the VTi engine, customers will get a powerful bike with a 125 cc engine as well as an on-road mileage of 65 kms a litre," said Dhar.

Dhar said the company aims to sell at least 20,000 units of Victor GLX in the first year of its launch in Gujarat, while the all India sales were likely to be 2.50 lakh units in the first year.

Victor GLX has also been launched in a variant with disc brakes, which will cost Rs 45,799 ex-showroom in Ahmedabad, said Dhar.
