TVS Motor Company today reported a four per cent growth in sales during March at 1,21,988 units as against 1,17,045 units in the same month last year.
The company said its sales growth was mainly on account of scooters, which recorded a robust 44 per cent increase at 22,975 units in March as against 15,942 units in the same month a year ago.
Motorcycle sales of the company during the month stood at 55,754 units in comparison to 60,908 units in March 2008, down 8.46 per cent.
Two-wheeler exports during the month stood at 16,340 units as against 13,070 units in the same month last year, up 25 per cent.
