TVS Motor Company has reported a 11 per cent increase in two wheeler sales at 114,321 units in August 2008 against 102,734 units for the period last year.
During the month, company's motorcycle sales increased by 13 per cent recording 52,304 units compared to 46,235 units recorded in August 2007.
Scooters sales increased by 3 per cent to 25,392 units as against 24,645 units. Export of two wheelers increased to 18,083 units in August 2008 as against 12,006 units in the corresponding period of the previous year, an increased of 51 per cent.
