Chennai-based TVS Motor Company today said it is expecting its domestic two-wheeler sales to touch 2 million units mark during next fiscal, a jump of about 38 per cent over the ongoing financial year.

"We are expecting very good response from our new product Jive... In the next financial year, we are targeting to sell 2 million units of two-wheelers in the domestic market," TVS Motor Company Head (Motorcycle) Arun Siddharth told reporters here.

The company is hoping to close the 2009-10 financial year by selling 1.45 million two-wheelers, he added.

Talking about its latest product 'Jive', Siddharth said the company is aiming to sell 240,000 units of the clutchless bike in 2010-11.

TVS Motor had launched the 110cc motorcycle 'Jive' in November last year and is priced at Rs 42,235 (ex-showroom).

While introducing the bike, TVS Motor Company Chairman and MD Venu Srinivasan had said the company would launch two new vehicle models every year in order to consolidate its position in the two-wheeler industry, besides upgrading some of its existing models.
