Tyche Peripherals, which recently announced a tie-up with NCR Corporation, USA for their retail solutions, is now looking at providing a complete solutions package to retailers. |
Ram PGS, executive chairman, Tyche Peripherals Systems said that the company would approach retailers with a package, which would include front-end billing systems, cash collection systems, security surveillance and fire solutions. |
The NCR products include point-of-sale systems and kiosks. |
Tyche is also in talks with a UK-based company to enter into a similar agreement for fire fighting solutions, which would be unlike the existing systems where sprinklers or carbon dioxide is used. |
"By offering a complete solution to companies, we become a one-stop shop for the retailers. It is easier for them since they have to deal with just one company for maintenance, or any other issues which may arise," explained Ram. |
The tie-up with NCR, which provides retail solutions for 80 per cent of the global retailers like Walmart, will provide a boost to the offerings provided by Tyche. |
Going ahead, Ram said that the bulk of the company's revenue would come through the retail and banking segment. |
The company closed the last year with revenues of Rs 35 crore and is looking at touching Rs 50 crore this year. |
In addition to this, Tyche is developing a range of products in the home security segment including surveillance cameras, which would pick up unauthorised movement, say in a shop, post the closing hours and immediately give off an alarm. |
The company is all set to introduce solar water heaters and solar power security fences in India. |
