The apex brand of the UB Group, United Breweries (Holdings) saw a dip of at least 70 per cent in its net profit for the first quarter results announced at the BSE by the company.

		</script> </DIV><p class='TableClas'>The company posted a net profit after after tax of Rs 8.86 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008 as compared to Rs 29.46 crore for the quarter ended June 30 last quarter, a climdown of 70 per cent. </P>
</p><p class='TableClas'>The total income of the company also saw a dip of 34 per cent Rs 107.97 crore for the last quarter to Rs 7.1 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2008. <BR></P>
