UB's exports up

Exports of UB Global Corporation (UBGC), the International business arm of the UB Group, have gone up by close to 18 per cent to Rs 125 crore and crossed the 1 million cases mark of its beer and spirits, up from 8.5 lakh cases last fiscal. UB Global has made available 16 brands from the UB Group's stable to 40 countries around the world.

"Export of 1 million cases of spirits and beer brands from UBGCL brings the UB Group a step closer to Mallya's dream of becoming a global player," said Deepak Anand, president "� UB Global.

The company has also claimed UB Group's McDowell's No.1 Whisky has also become the largest selling whisky.
